# Georgia Civic Data API

> Cleaned, standardized public data for the state of Georgia (education today, more domains coming), served as a read-only REST API. Every dataset is generated from a versioned ODCS data contract, so its schema, units, ranges, and allowed values are machine-readable and stable.

- Base URL: `https://georgiacivicdata.org/api/v1`
- All endpoints are GET, public, and need no API key.
- Response formats: JSON (default), CSV, Parquet (`?format=`).
- Filtering: `year` (exact) or `year_min`/`year_max` (range); `detail` (state/district/school); FK code lists (`district_code`, `school_code`, `demographic`); and one filter param per categorical column (comma-separated values OR within a param, multiple params AND).
